Your phone number, used solely to verify sign-in with a one-time SMS code. A display name and handle you choose. A profile photo if you add one. Voice messages you record.
They're ephemeral by design: encrypted at rest, destroyed after they're listened to or when they expire. We don't transcribe them, analyze them, or use them for anything other than delivering them to the people you chose.
We don't sell your data. We don't share your phone number — other users find you by handle, never by number. We don't run ads, we don't build advertising profiles, and we don't send marketing messages.
We send exactly one kind of text: a one-time sign-in code, only when you request it in the app. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out (note: opting out of SMS prevents sign-in by code).
SMS delivery is handled by Twilio, which processes phone numbers for that purpose only. Infrastructure runs on Amazon Web Services.
