BlipBlab is an ephemeral voice-messaging app, reachable at hey@blipblab.com. Voice messages ("blips") are destroyed after they're heard or when they expire — that's the product, not a bug. Destruction erases the message's own encryption key, so a destroyed blip is unrecoverable, by us included. Don't rely on BlipBlab to preserve anything.
You must be at least 13 years old to use BlipBlab. If you're under the age where your local law requires parental consent for services like this, you need that consent.
You create an account with your phone number. When you tap "text me the code" in the app, you're asking us to send you a one-time verification passcode by SMS — one message per request, never marketing. Message and data rates may apply; reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out (verification codes only arrive when you request one). Your number is used solely to verify sign-in and is never shown to other users. You're responsible for what you record and send, and for keeping your device secure.
Be a decent human. No harassment, no threats, no sexual content involving minors, no illegal content, no impersonation, no attempts to break or abuse the service or probe other people's privacy. Recipients can report messages and voice greetings; when something is reported, a sealed copy is preserved for review despite normal ephemerality, as described in the privacy policy. We review reports and can restrict or terminate accounts that abuse others — quietly and without notice where safety requires it.
BlipBlab is in invite beta. Features may change, break, or vanish, and beta data may be reset — we'll give notice in the app if that becomes necessary. The service is provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages to the extent the law allows.
You can stop using BlipBlab any time, and can delete your account in the app (deletion completes after a 30-day grace window). We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance. Material changes will be announced in the app.
